Tours Of
Peace
The Vietnam Tour Of Peace is the heart of
our programs. Vietnam veterans and families see
Vietnam as it is today, visit
areas of personal meaning, participate in humanitarian causes, and
emotionally process their experience throughout the trip.

Family Program participant confronts fears,
while receiving TOP support at Cu Chi.
Participants visit with Vietnamese who
still feel a bond, meet those who want to reach out to former enemies, and
spend time with younger generations who have grown up in post war years.

A former North Vietnamese Army soldier provided answers to questions
this TOP participant had about the loss of his father in Vietnam.
An important element of a
Tour Of Peace is our humanitarian work conducted in areas relevant to each
participant.

Infant orphans need and enjoy TOP’s touch and attention.
Retrieving
personal effects
on trips is powerful for both participants, who bring them back, and
veterans and families who receive them.

A sister examines a Marine artifact, not far from where her brother died.
TOP strives to educate veterans, families
and the public on issues related to Vietnam veterans and families, the
Vietnam War, and Vietnam as it is today. Our Tours Of Peace trips are a
tremendous resource for our Education Program.
